Come and explore these incredible sites only minutes from Cardiff dating back to the Stone Age, with the award winning Glamorgan History Walks.
If you are the sort of person who describes Stonehenge as “a bit modern” then this is the history walk for you.
Taking aside the splendid Victorian mansion at Dyffryn where our walk begins, most of the places we will visit are firmly planted in the BCE date range. They range from the neolithic to the Iron Age. Sites of pagan spirituality, legends, folklore and even a tenuous link to King Arthur. The only downside is that there are no pubs in St Nicholas.
