6-week Introduction to BSL Course

We are pleased to offer a 6-week introduction course to British Sign Language with Nadene!
This is an opportunity to learn basic BSL, meet new people and become a part of creating a more inclusive and equal Wales.
When & Where: The sessions will be at Ardour Academy on Saturday mornings 11am-12:30pm. The sessions will take place on the following dates:

- 17/5/25
- 24/5/25
- 31/5/25
- 7/6/25
- 14/6/25
What to expect: We will be learning the Alphabet, how to introduce ourselves, numbers, colours, and daily pleasantries. A fully qualified Level 6 facilitator will be delivering the sessions.
Who can join? All levels of ability are welcome, but this is particularly suitable for complete beginners. Numbers are limited and we will prioritise deaf participants and/or those with a deaf family member.
Cost: £40 per person. We will offer some donation-based sessions to individuals experiencing extreme financial difficulties. if you believe you’ll need a ‘Hardship pass’ to access this course, please drop our Creative Director, Sara an email on
