Salukis on Swift

Taylor Swift is the focus of a new anthology of creative nonfiction. Salukis on Swift: The Anthology contains seven essays by current and former SIU students and faculty, who will celebrate the book’s publication with a public reading at Confluence Books on Sunday, June 22, at 2 pm. The seven authors come from different backgrounds and experiences, but all found something that spoke to them in Taylor Swift’s musical catalog and inspired them to share their response in writing.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. And ... refreshments! Authors expected to attend are Libby Gerdes, Mary Morris, Brittany Watson, and Sunny Anne Williams. Authors Jori Bonadurer and Jo Christian are not expected to attend, while author and anthology editor Rafael Frumkin sends well wishes from a distance.
