Jazz at Jamison - Robbie Mann & Friends

Robbie Mann & Friends is the collective band title used by pianist extraordinaire Robbie Mann to present his special line-up of some of this country’s most highly regarded traditional jazz musicians. The ever-changing line-up is always eagerly awaited by the crowd.

Robbie Mann is fast becoming this country’s most sought-after pianist, particularly for his mastery of the early jazz styles of ‘ragtime’ & ‘stride’ piano. On this occasion, Robbie will be joined on the front line by another extraordinary talent and a true legend of Australian jazz, Paul Furniss, playing clarinet & saxophone. Paul was a member of the renowned Graeme Bell All Stars and he has led the famous San Francisco Jazz Band and the Licorice Allsorts for many years.

Rounding out the group will be an emerging young Sydney drummer, Lachlan Robinson, and supporting local musicians.

Hot jazz, swing and ragtime piano is an irresistible combination!
