Yuko says “This week, I will feature Héctor Farrel. He was a singer, but perhaps many people don't hear him too often, since he wasn't singing with the orquestas which we play most often in the milonga. He recorded some pieces with Laurenz, and then some with Julio De Caro. Then he retired at the age 35 from singing and became a public servant, apparently. A bit of a surprising choice, but hey, many of us know about the glamorous life of public servants! A lovely voice though, so you will hear some Héctor Farrel in amongst everything else.”
