Mass250 Dance Party

The City of Cambridge's beloved City Dance Party is back and bigger than ever. Join thousands of residents and visitors on Friday June 27 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM in front of Cambridge City Hall for a night of music lights and celebration.

This year’s theme—Revolutionary Reunion 250—honors 250 years of revolutionary spirit community and connection as part of the larger Cambridge Mass 250 commemorations.

For the third year in a row the party expands all the way to Prospect Street giving you even more room to dance in the street. Live DJs will keep the energy high with music for all ages and after dark colorful lights will transform Mass Ave into a glowing dance floor.

Organized by the City Manager’s Office Cambridge Arts and the Central Square BID with support from city departments this signature summer kickoff event is not to be missed. Originally launched in 1996 for the City's 150th anniversary the Dance Party has become a cherished annual tradition.
