If you’ve ever been blown around on a windy day, then you already know that the wind is powerful! How powerful? In this event, you will learn how to harness electricity from the wind. By constructing a miniature wind turbine that you can take home, you will explore the physics behind wind energy and measure the power output of your turbine in a wind tunnel. Get ready to pave a new path toward building clean electricity generation!
This program is designed with ages 8-13 in mind, but all young scientists are welcome to attend. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Responsible adults, please keep a close eye on your kids.
