Bio:

Iara Magalhães is a vocalist and composer from Portugal that is currently studying Professional Music (Performance and Songwriting) at Berklee College of Music, in Boston. She was part of the Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice at Berklee and was a soloist at the "38th International Folk Festival" at the Berklee Performance Center, representing Portugal. This show is a reflection of how she is joining Jazz with her roots writing her music. The songs talk about her family, self-growth and finding your place doing what you love. An homage to her country and the people that support her.
