Cambridge Dance Party

The streets of Cambridge are once again going to turn into one giant dance floor.

The City of Cambridge, in partnership with the Arts Council and Central Square Business Improvement District (BID), is hosting the Cambridge Dance Party on Friday, June 27 from 5–11 p.m.

Family-friendly play streets will begin at 5 p.m. on Temple Street and music begins at 6 p.m. in front of City Hall.

This year’s theme? Revolutionary Reunion 250—celebrating 250 years of community & revolution. Music, lights, dancing in the street.

Take the MBTA Red Line to Central Square and Cambridge City Hall is two blocks away. Party-goers, who bicycle to the event, will be able to check their bikes at bike valet locations at either end of the closed sections of Mass Ave.

DJs will be spinning all night from 6-11 p.m.

This signature summer kickoff event is not to be missed. Originally launched in 1996 for the City's 150th anniversary, the Dance Party has become a can't miss annual tradition.
