A Circle of Songs is always surprising and exciting when you hear tunes from the heart of the composer! Stories of inspiration and perspiration about the songwriting process are always part of this intimate deep dive into original music. Expect to be amused, challenged, entertained and inspired.
CAROLYN HARLEY is the host of the evening and is a storyteller with a purpose. Carolyn has many album releases to her name and was nominated for Folk Recording of the Year for YYC Music Awards for her album Heartbeat of the World. A certified Late Bloomer, Carolyn loves to NOT act her age!
TONI VERE is a hard nosed writer who is not afraid to say it like it is. Her songs are intense and yet approachable. She uses humour and sarcasm to its full extent. Her songs make your brain work hard! Toni has a unique voice and a strong control of the guitar.
LEANNE LIGHTFOOT is a smoky voiced singer with songs and stories that reach inside and grab you by the emotional bootstraps! Be prepared to have an overload of emotions. Coming from the Bragg Creek area with a background in the countryside and horses, Leanne is the real deal.
