Pony Girl
With four albums under their belt, Pony Girl has honed the art of shimmering art-pop anthems and evocative soundscapes that push the envelope. “Kurt Cobain but pretty” just begins to describe Barbara’s experimental indie rock and psychedelic dabblings. After back-to-back appearances at Sled Island and the inaugural Bob-Sled festival in January, Barbara is set to return to the other side of the Rockies once again, this time in support of their brand new sophomore LP, SO THIS IS LIVING.
Chic Chameleon
Like a mirage floating across the prairies, Chic Chameleon is Edmonton’s bedroom pop sensation. Born from Patrick Froese's dreaming mind, his music showcases indie pop sensibilities coated in shoegaze fuzz that propels listeners into a realm of reflection. The video for “Shade Your Way” captures Froese’s singular presence, lightly strumming a guitar and crooning away.
