Experience the divine presence of Lord Jagannath (Krishna), accompanied by His brother Baladeva and sister Subhadra, as They ride together through the streets in a magnificent chariot — pulled by thousands of loving hearts. This sacred journey symbolizes the Lord coming out to bless all living beings with His merciful darshan.
Krishna, in His awe-inspiring form as Lord Jagannath, reigns over the universe alongside His elder brother Baladeva and beloved sister Subhadra. The Rath Yatra – Festival of Chariots – was initiated over five decades ago by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON. What began as a sacred festival in India now unites more than 750 cities worldwide in devotion, joy, and community.
On Sunday, June 22, ISKCON Calgary is honoured to host the 21st Annual Jagannath Rath Yatra – Festival of Chariots. We invite you and your loved ones to join us for the biggest outdoor celebration of the year — where you can pull the Lord’s Chariot, receive His merciful darshan, and experience a vibrant celebration of spiritual joy.
