East Coast Night at the Reagle Beagle Macleod w/ Fraid Knot - East Coast & Celtic Rock

It's time for a party, or even better yet, an East Coast party with 5 piece Celtic Rock band, Fraid Knot! Calgary, sniff us out at the Reagle Beagle for a now rare pub show! Bring yer mates, grab some wings! It's party team, East coast style! Sociable!

Join front man, Byron Eddy, an East Coast Music Industry Association award nominee with a full band for this Celtic show (traditional, east coast, Celtic rock, and some other tunes thrown in for fun), the music will be sure to please!!

Meet Fraid Knot – a band once dubbed by a local journalist, “western Canada’s hardest working ambassadors of contemporary Celtic music.” Calmer than the Drop Kick Murphy’s, edgier than Great Big Sea, happier than the Pogues and still traditional enough to please the ear of many a purist, Fraid Knot truly bridges the gap between Celtic and Rock. The band is a technical, high energy group of musicians who embrace elements from Scottish, Irish and of course Canadian music to serve up their own unique “knotified” sound that is present in both original music as well as their interpretation of Celtic classics.
