Let’s get this ball rolling
The BHPE Mavericks are excited to host the first annual Outdoor Open Ball Hockey Tournament on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Tsuut’ina 7 Chiefs Nation Sportsplex on the outdoor rink.
This event brings together fresh air, fast-paced hockey, and community connection. Games begin at 9:00 AM and follow a five-on-five format with a goalie. Each game runs 20 minutes, with round robin play followed by playoffs. It’s all about fun, not pressure, and a great chance to enjoy the game in a casual, outdoor setting.
Teams can include up to ten runners and one goalie, with extras allowed at an additional cost. You can register a full team or sign up as an individual and be placed on a team. No experience needed — everyone is welcome.
Divisions will be organized by age group and total number of teams to keep things fair and enjoyable for all players.
