Please join us as we come together under the light of the Sturgeon Moon for an evening of reflection, connection, and remembrance. This full moon circle will honor:
🌱 The humble grain of rice — a symbol of abundance and life, and the countless hands that nurture it.
🌊 The countless fish and ocean creatures we owe a debt of gratitude to, reminding us of the sacredness of all life.
💚 Our shared intention to walk this earth with compassion for all beings — human, animal, land, and sea.
👼 The life of vegan activist Erzsebet (Liz) Osz who sadly passed away on July 10.
What to Expect:
🌕 A brief spiritual ritual focusing on abundance, remembrance, and reverence.
🍚 A communal “Bowl of Abundance” ceremony.
🌹A rose mandala to honor Liz.
🌱 A vegan potluck (Including a special vegan rice pudding for National Rice Pudding Day!)
🌊 An evening of warmth, reflection, and belonging under the luminous Sturgeon Moon.
Let’s honor this sacred night and reaffirm our shared intention: to live in harmony with the earth and oceans, in remembrance and reverence for all life. 🌕🌊🌱
Everyone is welcome — friends new and old, seekers and long-timers, those with a deep spiritual practice and those just exploring the path. Please bring a vegan dish to share (labeled with any allergens). See details below...
Potluck:
For the potluck, bring a vegan (plant-based raw and cooked foods, no animal products of any kind) potluck dish to share, your own plate/cup/utensils, and an open heart. We will have extra plates and utensils on hand. Be mindful to bring a dish versus a snack or drink so we have plenty of food for everyone.
IMPORTANT: Please bring a meal to feed 4 - 8 people so we have plenty of food for everyone.
We welcome everyone, whether you're vegan or not. In the spirit of compassion and to honor animals, we request that all food is vegan and all clothing is free of animal products. For food, that means no flesh, dairy, eggs, or honey in food. For clothes, that means no down, fur, wool, or leather. Please share your delicious vegan dishes and favorite vegan clothes with us!
