CAIRNS FESTIVAL 2025 || Future Science Talks (The Comedy Edition)

Australia's favourite science comedy show debuts at the Cairns Festival after sell-out events across Australia!

In 2025, a new group of local scientists from Cairns have partnered with comedians to infuse humour into their scientific talks.

See scientists doing stand-up comedy. Laugh and learn at the same time!

At the show, you’ll be hearing a series of short talks from Cairns best, brightest and emerging science professionals.

Each show features a different group of scientists.

Previous topics have included black holes, microbiology, psychology, genetic engineering, and much more!
