🌞 Summer Solstice Opening Ceremony with Community Prayer Wheel / Dream Circle in the Garden of Eden

Come together in sacred community as we welcome the light and energy of the Summer Solstice with a heart-centered Opening Ceremony led by Shannon Chada and Karen LaFrano. This powerful moment marks the longest day of the year - a time for growth, gratitude, and connection.
We will gather in the Garden of Eden at SoderWorld, where we will ceremoniously lower the 17-foot Dream Circle/Prayer Wheel from the trees, inviting all to contribute their prayer ties and blessings as offerings of hope, healing, and unity.
This Dream Circle is part of the Sacred Dream Circles Vision, created and guided by Elder/Teacher Zelda Hotaling of New York. We honor her teachings and sacred presence from last year, when she joined us in community to weave this circle together. The Dream Circle at SoderWorld was the first to be created outside of New York and the original Dream Circle Series, as shared in Zelda’s book (book available at the SoderWorld gift store) and art exhibit. We continue to walk in reverence with her vision and the teachings that bind us through thread, intention, and Spirit.
Though this ceremony is free and open to all ages, Love Donations are welcome and appreciated to support materials and continued community sharing.

- Kids Summer Solstice Yoga & Craft with Mindfulness with Meka (Ages 7+) – playful movement, mindfulness, and a Solstice Sun Catcher craft.
- Adult Summer Solstice Sun Catcher Workshop with Shannon Chada of Full Circle Harmony – a soulful, hands-on weaving experience with Red Willow and intention-setting.

*Please note that the Dream Circle will remain lowered throughout the day and a table of prayer ties will be out for those who are unable to make the morning Ceremony. Please feel free to come and offer your prayers and blessings (while materials last). The Dream Circle will be raised back up to the trees before Dusk.
