We are delighted to invite you to our Open Day at Burnley Football Club on Friday, 4th July, where you can discover more about our independent specialist provision for pupils with special educational needs, SEMH, CLA, and High Needs. This event offers a unique opportunity to meet our dedicated team and hear from two inspiring guest speakers.
During the Open Day, we will share insights into:
-Our regulatory framework and quality assurance, including inspections by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and Ofsted.
-Our experienced teaching team, all with specialist expertise in supporting children with diverse additional needs.
-Our collaborative partnerships with mainstream schools and local authorities, including referral pathways across our eight campuses, tailored support, and how our provision enhances existing SEND strategies.
-Our exceptional therapeutic package designed to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. Our external therapeutic support includes animal therapy, featuring equine, dog, pony, and farm-based experiences as well as bushcraft and forest school, walk and talk sessions, fishing therapy, and occupational therapy. In addition, our internal therapeutic provision includes PACE and trauma-informed approaches, rebound therapy, LEGO-based therapy, and a range of sensory interventions.
The event will feature presentations from our founder, Kirsty-Anne Pugh, alongside opportunities to engage with Heads from each campus and members of our central support hub. We are also thrilled to welcome two distinguished guest speakers:
Clarke Carlisle, a former professional footballer and advocate for mental health and education, whose journey exemplifies resilience and new beginnings, and Catherine Birtwistle from Hornby & Birtwistle Coaching CIC, who will share her inspiring personal story to close the day.
