FREE EVENT | SWWHIC 30th Anniversary Celebration – In Honour of Women’s Health Week
South West Women’s Health & Information Centre (SWWHIC) is proud to present an inspiring evening in celebration of our 30th Anniversary, during Women’s Health Week 2025, at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
This special event will reflect on three decades of advocacy, support, and connection for women across the South West, while shining a light on the evolving journey of women’s health and wellbeing.
The evening will feature a keynote address and interactive workshop led by the remarkable Lucy Peach – author, educator, and menstrual cycle advocate – whose powerful message transforms period narratives from shame to pride and empowers workplaces and communities to embrace a more inclusive future.
Guests will also enjoy a lively talk and Q&A panel ‘Say Yes to Boundaries and Consent’ exploring what it means to feel safe in your body, relationships, and everyday environments facilitated by sexologist Danae Beckwith.
The event will welcome past and present collaborators, supporters, and community members to explore a curated historical showcase of SWWHIC’s journey, and reflect, reconnect and celebrate the impact of women-centred care in our region. Registered attendees will receive a gift bag of meaningful items to commemorate this important milestone.
This is a free, inclusive, and celebratory evening honouring the strength, progress, and collective voices of women in our community – and everyone is welcome.
