Bunbury is going blue ahead of National Asthma Week! 💙
On 29 August iconic landmarks across the City of Bunbury will light up in blue to show support for the 1 in 9 Australians living with asthma:
🔹 Marlston Hill Lookout
🔹 Koombana Bay Footbridge
🔹 Koombana Bay Foreshore
🔹 Marlston Waterfront
🔹 Guppy Park
🔹 The Navigators at the Koombana Drive roundabout
🔹 Richmond Reserve
🔹 The historic Arrol Crane at Jetty Road and Koolambidi Woola (Bunbury’s youth precinct)
How you can get involved:
💙 Wear blue – from t-shirts to socks, shoes or even a blue scarf!
✨ Visit your favourite WA landmarks (where safe to do so)
📸 Take a photo
📲 Tag @respiratorycarewa and use the hashtags #DoBlueDoYou and #NationalAsthmaWeek
💬 Spark up a conversation about asthma with a friend to raise awareness
Whether you visit just one landmark or complete the full trail, every photo, post and conversation helps shine a light on asthma awareness and support.
💡 Remember: Stay safe when exploring after dusk!
Thank you to the City of Bunbury for helping to raise awareness of asthma in the WA community.
