Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, a Berlinben működő art-pop és érzékeny zajzenét játszó formáció, atmoszférikus és intenzív előadásaival hódította meg Európa közönségét. Az együttes élén a dél-afrikai származású Lucy Kruger áll (gitár, ének), tagjai még Liú Mottes (gitár), Jean-Louise Parker (brácsa, ének), valamint Gidon Carmel (dob). Zenéjük egyszerre intim és sarkos—néhol drónszerű és álomszerű, máshol magával ragadó, közvetlen és a kétségbeesés határát súroló. Gondosan konfrontatív.
Legújabb albumuk, az A Human Home, 2024. május 31-én jelent meg. Egy lo-fi, bensőséges gyűjtemény, amely az otthonhoz és a valahová tartozáshoz kapcsolódó témákat boncolgatja. Az album szándékos és véletlenszerű távoli együttműködéseket ötvöz, ezáltal egy egyszerre személyes és mégis egyetemes érzelmi pillanatot ragad meg.
A Cold Venus Revisited egy Prágában működő zenei projekt, amely különféle zenei műfajokat érint, a sötét, zajos pszichedéliától kezdve a shoegaze-en és a poszt-punkon át. A zenekar inspirációját a művészetek széles spektrumából meríti, elsősorban a '80-as és '90-es évek punk szcénájából – olyan együttesek hatására, mint a Cranes, Spacemen 3, Kino, és még sokan mások. Emellett pszichedélia, poszt-punk, krautrock, garázsrock és kortárs gitárzene elemeit is kutatják.
Jelenlegi hangzásukat leginkább darkgaze-ként lehetne leírni, készülő albumuk pedig egy kísérlet arra, hogy a Cranesvagy Bowery Electric-szerű shoegaze zenekarok zajos textúráit átszűrjék David Lynch vagy Jim Jarmusch filmjeinek atmoszféráján keresztül.
Rövid történetük során már olyan előadókkal is színpadra léptek, mint a She Past Away (Törökország), The Underground Youth (Egyesült Királyság), Whispering Sons (Belgium), Lucy Kruger and the Lost Boys (Dél-Afrika), és még sokan mások.

Led by South African-born artist Lucy Kruger (guitar and vocals), the band features Liú Mottes (guitar), Jean-Louise Parker (viola and vocals), Gidon Carmel (drums). Their music is both intimate and angular—droning and dream-like in moments, driving, direct, and on the edge of desperation in others. Caringly confrontational.
Their latest album, A Human Home, released on May 31st, 2024, is a lo-fi, intimate collection exploring themes of belonging and home. The album features a mix of accidental and deliberate remote collaborations, capturing a unique, personal, yet universally resonant moment.
