We're bringing a taste of Nashville here to Buchanan!
Grab your boots (or dancing shoes) and come learn how to line dance with the Sunset Coast Country Dancers! 2nd Sundays of the month from May-October at River Saint Joe.
This style of dance is taking the country by storm and we can guarantee you'll want to check it out and see what it's all about. No prior experience needed to join in on this dancing fun! Cowboy boots are always encouraged, but wear whatever you're most comfortable boot scootin' and boogieing in!
We'll teach the basic steps, and have fun learning some of the hottest dances in the area right now, with the first 90 minutes dedicated to learning new moves and the last 30 minutes left for open dancing and showing off your newfound skills!
Dancing takes place in our covered event tent overlooking Flatwater Farms, complete with dance floor and mobile bar. Entry fee is $8 and includes dancing and instruction.

The Sunset Coast Country Dancers were founded in April 2023 by two Southwest Michigan natives to bring community through dancing to our local area. Founded with a focus on country line dancing, the group has since grown to include country swing and two step, various styles of partner dancing. From dancing in local parades to hosting internationally known choreographers to partnering with various local community partners, they value actively participating in the community and sharing their love for dance!
