THE VIRGIN SUICIDES (1999)

In a picturesque Detroit suburb, the neighborhood boys watch from afar as the mysterious Lisbon sisters recede from the world and are drawn toward death. This dreamy, haunting adaptation of Jeffrey Eugenides’s novel marked first-time director Sofia Coppola and star Kirsten Dunst as major talents.
