Sexuality Affirming Support Group

Pride Community Center, Inc has worked with the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley to provide a safe space for peers to meet, support, advise, and offer encouragement to each other on living as gay, lesbian, bisexual + in the Brazos Valley.

The purpose of this group is to discuss matters of sexuality rather than issues of gender identity/expression. There is a separate support group for interested persons needing gender affirmation on 2nd Monday's of the month at Friends Congregational Church, also facilitated by Katy Stewart of Pride Community Center.

This is a safe space, be assured of no religiousity or proselytizing by the church. In point of fact, Unitarians subscribe to agreed upon tenets rather than a specified Godhead. This safe space is offered from a place of support and care for the LGBTQ+ community of the Brazos Valley.
