About the event

THIRST : Immersive Continuum workshop
This workshop is born from a very basic thirst. The need to be water. The need to immerse, to soak, to wet, to sink, to float, to dissolve, to moisture, to fluidify.
To dive.
To deepen then connection to the body, to the connective, wet, fluid tissues, living cosmic planetary process that we are.
Do you live your life as the water that your body is?

Continuum and somatic movement practice will be our entry into inner ocean.
The central teaching of Continuum is that ALL fluids of the body — whether circulating blood, the tides of cerebrospinal fluid, the pump of the lymph system, the net of membranes or the swirl of viscera and brain — function as fundamentally ONE undulating stream of intelligence.
In Continuum, we refer to this entirety as the fluid system and recognize its essential and ancestral role in healing, movement and fundamental wisdom. By amplifying wave motion through movement, our entire body resonates as a fluid, vital whole.
(from https://continuummovement.com/the-art-of-self-renewal-the-fluid-system/)
All fluids resonate and all bodies talk the language of water.

Each workshop will be uniquely created accordingly to the topic (see below). Various movement and bodywork modalities and concepts, will be weaved into the fabrique of the THIRST, such as ecosomatics, deep feminine wisdom, ancestral orisha tradition, quantum physics, anatomy, polyvagal theory, cosmology, dance, philosophy and energy work.
