Lennart Heyndels (Live)
Bio:
Lennart Heyndels is a Belgian bassist, synthesist and composer based in Brussels who performs in a wide variety of musical settings. Besides his solo work for modular synthesizers and electronics, he is also half of the experimental pop duo Hi Hawaii and bassist in a number of internationally renowned ensembles such as Ben Sluijs Quartet, Kaja Draksler Octet, Alex Koo Trio and Les Chroniques de l'Inutile.
In his solo work he treats the modular as a live performance instrument, by creating intricate eco-systems to interact and improvise with. The instrument becomes a collaborator, as well as an extension of the performer. He allows the sound itself to dictate the music, not limited by the boundaries of musical genres. A celebration of the unpredictable nature of the instrument he lets the voltage lead the way and surfs on the flow of current.

A travers ce live, untel explore des mondes souterrains oscillant entre des sonorités parfois brutes et corrosives, parfois douces et aiguisées.
Son live mêle séquences rythmiques déstructurées, passages bruitistes, nappes
dissonantes et textures granuleuses. Le but étant de perdre pied entre pulsations non régulières et sonorités abstraites en constante évolution.
