This time, the lineup is experimental, rhythmic, raw, and bold.
• Purpura (Live)
PURPURA is the solo harsh-noise project of Andrea Nucamendi, originally from Chiapas, Mexico, formed in 2014 and based in Geneva, Switzerland. An obscure figure of Geneva's underground scene, PURPURA performs and produces soundscapes inspired by visions of the underworld. Invading spaces with sonic aggression, she continues an old-school sound performance experience on today’s stage.
• RAE
Rae describes herself as a jack-of-all-trades, with artistic practices deeply influenced by her life in squats. Building on her studies in fashion design, she has delved into the world of textiles with a sculptor’s approach. Naturally, she has also developed other skills, such as graphic design and collage—she created the artwork accompanying "µ" under her own name, Dong Hae—as well as writing and radio. Alongside a few companions (Suzy.Q, alfonssa grindr, ginger pickls), she hosts Radio Panik every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month with her show “PICKL'S_XP.” Although she considers her background to be "academic," she carves out her own path, finding her strongest source of inspiration in her network of friendships and showing a clear preference for micro-publishing, craftsmanship, and self-production.
• Onrust (live)
Onrust is the solo project of Belgian self-taught electronic artist Wendy Mulder (1979). In the past ten years, she's has been successfully exploring analog synthesis, computer drumming and sampling. Self described as ‘Tantric Techno For The Restless’, her music combines old-school industrial in uences such as Orphx, Esplendor Geométrico or Cosey Fanni Tutti with a distinct feminine subtlety and attention to detail and a tendency for groovy psychedelica.
