Saltwater Science Series: Alligators

Take a deep dive into the world of alligators with Sea Grant-funded researcher Mark Hoog! Learn about alligator biology, unique adaptations, and their vital role in coastal ecosystems. Hoog, a Ph.D. candidate at Georgia Southern University, is collaborating with Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Coastal Ecology Lab to study alligator populations in the Okefenokee Swamp.
