Welcome to Tomoko Omura's World-Premiere of "Run, Run, Run"! Join us at ShapeShifter Lab for the world-premiere of her brand new musical compositions, along with an original short story written by Tomoko. The story is about a girl who survives an Atomic bomb in New York City. The special illustration by Noah MacNeil will be shown during the performance. Don't miss out on this exclusive opportunity to experience her groundbreaking performance live. This concert is funded by Chamber Music America and FREE to attend for children under 18. Due to the subject in the story, the concert is recommended for children 13 and up. Mark your calendars for this one-of-a-kind event!
Info: "Run, Run, Run" is new series of compositions by Tomoko Omura for her band Roots Quintet, along with an original story written by Tomoko. During the concert, the story will be narrated in between each composition, accompanied by the special illustration made by Noah MacNeil projected on a screen.The story is about a girl who survives an atomic bomb in New York City. Roots Quintet will feature, Jeff Miles on guitar, Glenn Zaleski on piano, Pablo Menares on bass and Jay Sawyer on drums..
