Terrace Books Presents: Bookish and Looking

Are you single, ready to mingle, but sick and tired of dating apps? Are you searching for genuine connection but aren't quite sure how to put yourself out there? We hear you! And we think it's time for you to take control of your own plot.

Bookish and Looking is a singles event for Brooklyn book lovers. Register for an evening full of in-person socialization, conversation driven by literature, drinks, laughter, and (hopefully!) flirtation.

Over the course of the two hour event, attendees will migrate between different genre stations around the store, where there will be genre and book-based conversation starters posted to get things flowing. Everyone will be prompted to switch between conversation partners and genre tables so that they can get to know a variety of different people, but fear not! Each attendee will receive a personalized connection card (based on a survey sent to each participant via email after they've registered) where they'll mark off the connections they'd be interested in exploring after the event. If two people are mutually marked, it's a match! And we'll put you in contact with each other. If not, no worries, no shame. Our lips are sealed.

Each ticket includes two drinks. After the event, attendees will be invited to keep the party going in a less structured way at Krupa Grocery.
