This June, INFINITEQUE is partnering with the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at the Rockport Branch of Cleveland Public Library to present “TEQUE KNOW GAMES: Strategy Guides for the Next Gen”
This two-part program is designed to connect teens with games culture, local history, and real-world skills through storytelling and interactive play.
This first chapter of the Strategy Guides series will center on the SEGA Dreamcast, a console that bridges the arcade and home gaming eras. Participants will explore the history of Cleveland’s games culture, dive into retro consoles, and take part in activities that blend gameplay with personal growth—like group mentorship discussions—all designed to support teens as they navigate their own path.
“This is more than just playing games,” said Tristan Wheeler, Founder of INFINITEQUE and program facilitator. “It’s about using the culture of games to help teens build confidence, explore identity, and start thinking about their future—whether that’s a creative path, a career in tech, or just figuring out the next move. This is about writing the strategy guide for your journey ahead.”
This program is part of the TEQUE KNOW GAMES initiative, which merges games culture with education, empowerment, and community engagement across Greater Cleveland and beyond.
