New York Music Month is an initiative of the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.

Presented in partnership with Chartmetric, the City of New York, and NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. This event brings together artists, music executives, and tech professionals for an evening focused on the intersection of data and music in New York City. The program will feature a brief discussion on the current state of music in NYC, including local genre trends, emerging artists, and top-performing tracks, powered by Chartmetric analytics.
In addition to the industry insights, the night includes performances from two NYU Clive Davis alumni, a live DJ set, and an open bar. The goal is to foster meaningful conversation and connection across the music and tech communities, while highlighting how data can support artist development and career strategy in a rapidly changing industry.
