GETTING TO THE ARCHWAY

The Dumbo Archway is a public plaza underneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, Brooklyn. It’s on Water St between Anchorage Place and Adams St. You can use "28 Adams Street" for the purposes of maps. Parking in Dumbo is tricky! We strongly encourage you to take public transit.

THE MUSIC!

Chanpan began when Grace Dumdaw and twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran decided to busk in Chinatown, NYC. Since then, they’ve been praised by Vogue as a “very cool New York band” and named as one the “Riot Grrrls of 2025” by Numéro Tokyo Magazine The trio’s individual accolades in politics, community organizing, and film & television have also been featured by The New Yorker, HBO, Billboard, CNN, and more.

Ruby Hoops is a visionary hoop dance performer based in New York City. With training in movement and music from an early age, she’s cultivated a style based around integrating the two. Ruby Hoops creates a visual experience meant to complement the auditory. Music translated by the soul & onto the dancefloor with the help of high quality LED hoop art!

JOIN THE ARTIST ON THE INTERACTIVE ART WALL!

Through abstract paintings, drawings and sculptures, April Hannah explores the nature of existence and how universal truth reveals itself through paradox. Common materials such as canvas, charcoal, acrylic paint and plywood along with simple processes including scribbling, tracing and intuitive mark making are used to create a complex system of form evolution. There is a universal or inherent intelligence within this system with Hannah operating as the vehicle for both creation and discovery.

April Hannah received her BA from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, NY. Her work has been widely exhibited nationally at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York, NY; Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) in Rockport, ME; Arthouse at the Jones Center in Austin, TX; SPACES Gallery in Cleveland, OH; and the Carlos Gallery of Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Hannah has also been featured in national and international publications such as The Huffington Post, New York Magazine and EST Magazine. She received a Museum of Arts and Design Artist Studios Residency Award in 2010. Hannah lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
