Freestyle Dance + Contact Improv Class at the Barefoot Boogie Brooklyn

Special half hour Contact Improv warmup led by Shakti starting at 7:30pm sharp!

Come warm up for the Boogie with with a 30 minute Contact Improvisation class, Contact Improv Lite! You’ll be invited to explore leaning, rolling, and pouring of weight at the physical point of contact with a partner and with the floor—opening you up to new possibilities in your dances with others. For all levels of experience. Shakti has been teaching CI since 1992.

Warning: studies have shown that Contact Improv elicits the following symptoms: heightened levels of embodiment, contentment, fun, playfulness.
