About the event

Brooklyn Tea Party Meeting For 5/18/25 With Guest Speaker City Council Candidate Luis Quero
Hello everyone,
The Brooklyn Tea Party IS IN PERSON for our April meeting.
Date: Sunday May 18, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM-5:00 PM

Address: 202 Foster Ave in Brooklyn New York. Follow the Greenline arrow office sign to the basement.

Our special Guest Speaker for our May meeting will be City Council Candidate Luis Quero, who is running in the 38th City Council District which covers neighborhoods that include Red Hook and parts of Park Slope, Sunset Park, Borough Park, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, and Bath Beach.

Luis Quero is running for City Council in Brooklyn's District 38 with a mission to bring dignity, safety, and accountability back to our communities. A Brooklyn native, Columbia University graduate, and seasoned community advocate, Luis understands the challenges facing his neighbors, from rising crime and housing issues to a lack of trust in local government. He is ready to fight for safe streets, strong neighborhoods, and a City Council that genuinely serves the people.

With a successful career as Vice President of Technology & Operations at a major bank, Luis has led transformative projects and managed global teams, bringing precision, accountability, and results to every challenge. He has also been a force for positive change in Sunset Park, organizing tenants for better housing and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs through his work with the Workshop in Business Opportunities.

Luis is not a career politician but a proven leader who prioritizes integrity, innovation, and community empowerment. His commitment to safer streets, stronger communities, and government accountability will ensure every resident is respected, valued, and supported. Under his leadership, Brooklyn's neighborhoods can once again be places of dignity and pride.
