This one is hard to photograph fully, but we are excited for this week’s class design! We are making a water dragon, based on the Mesopotamian legend of Tiamat, who is sometimes described as a sea serpent or dragon. If the ring bracelet is not your style, this is super easy to change into a simpler bracelet, or even a necklace if you are willing to play with the design a bit. This one is a great project to practice getting comfortable with multiple beadweaving stitches.
The sample used:
- 11° Delicas for the ring and flame color
- 15° seed beads for the flame
- 11° seed beads in 3 colors
- 8° seed beads in 1 color
- 4mm bicone
- Memory wire - bracelet sized (we will have some available at the store)
