Bee & Candle Rolling Workshop

Join us for a buzzing experience as we welcome Martyn from Merry May Honey to the museum! Martyn will be bringing along his amazing observation hive, giving you the rare opportunity to safely get up close to live honey bees and discover the secret life inside the hive.

You’ll uncover fascinating facts about the role of bees in our ecosystem, learn how a hive is structured, and find out what it takes to be a beekeeper. You can even try on a bee keeping suit.

You’ll also have the chance to roll your very own pure beeswax candle – a beautiful, sweet-scented souvenir to take home and remember your day.
