BP Summer Drama production of "High School Musical Jr."

The Broadalbin-Perth community is invited to join the fun as the district’s talented students bring Disney’s “High School Musical Jr.” to life on stage in a one-night-only event. The performance will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 in the Margaret Robin Blowers Auditorium at BPHS. Tickets cost $5 at the door.

Based on the hit Disney Channel original movie, “High School Musical Jr.” follows the story of Troy and Gabriella as they navigate friendships, expectations, and self-discovery — all while trying out for the school musical. With catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and a message about being true to yourself, the show promises fun for all ages.

The show is directed by Michael Ott, with the support of a team of assistant high school directors, including Alea Ransom, Anthony Zierak, Blake Lawson, Bobby Ransom, Christiane Park, Jacob Orapello, Janelle Soler, Jayla Soler, Kailyn Feerick, Lucas Taylor, and Madison Roser.
