Join the Kate Street Big Band for an afternoon of swing, Latin, Motown, funk and more as they embark on a journey through the decades like no other!

From the roaring 20s and the swinging 30s and 40s, to the smooth Latin of the 50s and 60s, and the powerful funk of the 70s and beyond. Kate Street will showcase your favourite songs from the world’s best artists, including Glenn Miller, Bette Midler, The Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Diana Ross and Jaco Pastorius. And what a great range of composers – Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joe Zawinul. There’s too much fun for one lifetime, but Kate Street will squeeze every tune they can into this show for you!

The 20-piece Kate Street Big Band plays a fabulous range of jazz, from early swing to contemporary, Latin, and everything in between. Out front is dynamic vocalist Naomi Doessel. For some feature numbers, Naomi is joined by Jessica O’Bryan and Tari Wickremeratne to form 3 to the Bar, a special guest vocal trio.
