BLUE TURTLES - The Music of STING is the only Australian band celebrating the music of one of the 20th century’s greatest and most celebrated songwriters. For five years, they have been performing to sold out venues and forging a reputation reserved for only the very best in live music.
Sting’s career statistics and critical adulation are staggering! As the former singer and bassist of iconic British band The Police and as a solo artist, Sting has over 3 billion Spotify plays, has sold over 100 million albums, won 17 Grammy Awards, and gained induction to the Rock and Roll and Songwriters’ Halls of Fame and the Kennedy Centre Honours Program. He remains one of the most distinctive, popular and highly respected artists in the music world today.
Ably led by esteemed Brisbane musician Neil Wickham, members of the BLUE TURTLES are some of Australia’s finest and most respected musicians with an extensive list of performing, touring, and recording credits with Grammy and ARIA award winning musicians and songwriters, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and both national and international touring artists.
