Brendan Cleary on his unique poetry.

Brendan Cleary's poems have a sharp "lifted from life" language and feel. He has been described as writing poetry that is anecdotal, scrappy, disposable and not wholly realised - but also sudden, vivid, angry and funny. Brendan will read his poetry and discuss techniques of writing. There will also be a writing exercise and a Q&A. Originally from Co. Antrim, Brendan has been an abiding presence in the UK poetry scene for over 30 years. Email for more info.
