Dressmaking for beginners , The Alterations Course.
Would you like to know how clothing is put together ? And how to alter it to fit you or others ?

Our Alterations course is designed to explain the basics of clothing alterations and common repairs to ready made clothing in a 3-week instructional class-based setting.

Ages 16+ welcome.

3 WEEK COURSE : TUESDAYS 3RD , 10TH , 17TH JUNE 6-9PM

WEEK 1 : DARTS , RE SIZING & RE SHAPING
WEEK 2 : SEAM TYPES , BUTTONHOLES , SHIRRING , ZIP REPLACEMENT

WEEK 3 : HEMMING – BLIND , ROLLED , TURKISH & TWIN NEEDLE
