Jennifer Rhea Linvile and Owen Grooms play heartwarming original and traditional songs on guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. Jenn grew up in Transylvania County, North Carolina, and has played music there throughout her life's journey with her family and friends, including the bands Chrysalis and The Woven. Owen plays with Pretty Little Goat and other regional bands, and teaches traditional music through the Transylvania JAM Program.
Together, they offer sweet harmonies that bring ease to your soul and a smile to your face. Their debut self-titled album, ‘Jenn and Owen’ was released in June 2024. The album features Jenn's evocative songwriting and soulful lead vocals, traditional tunes brought to life by Owen's unique clawhammer banjo style and lead singing, and Jenn's beautiful harmonies.
Emily Elgin
Emily Elgin is an up-and-coming country singer-songwriter hailing from Oklahoma, now making waves in Nashville. With powerhouse vocals and a knack for storytelling, Emily's songs reflect a life truly lived. Her 2019 debut 5-song EP “This Woman” has introduced her as a force to be reckoned with in the country music scene.
Emily’s journey through 2023 and 2024 has been defined by a series of standout releases. She kicked things off with her single Tuesday in June 2023, setting the stage for a momentum-filled 2024 with the releases of Should’ve Been Raining, My Luck’s Run Out, and the fiery Doc Holliday. She also holds a residency at Gray's on Main in downtown Franklin, where she performs monthly.
