Lunchtime Live - Krassimira & Andrew (violin & harpsichord)

We’re excited to welcome Krassimira Jeliazkova on violin, and Andrew Butcher on harpsichord to St Thomas’ for our May Lunchtime Live concert 🎶

Violinist Krassimira, with an MA in Music Performance from Sofia's National Music Academy, trained with top professors in Brussels and Moscow. A versatile musician, she has performed internationally in orchestras and as a soloist, including with the Moscow Academic State Orchestra. Since relocating to the UK in 2015, she has performed in notable venues and teaches in Essex, with solo performances of concertos by Tchaikovsky, Brahms, and Mendelssohn.

Andrew, a Cambridge University music graduate, spent over 30 years in international banking across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo. He is an active pianist and harpsichordist and currently serves as a non-executive director at a European financial institution and as a governor of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The Yehudi Menuhin School. He plays a harpsichord by Colin Booth, based on a 1700s German instrument similar to Bach's.
