About the event

Lunchtime Live - Regent Wind Quintet
We are excited to welcome the Regent Wind Quintet to St Thomas’ for our June Lunchtime Live concert 🎶

The Regent’s Wind Quintet is a London-based ensemble from the Royal Academy of Music, with members from Norway, Italy, Spain, and the UK. Drawing on diverse backgrounds, they aim to expand their musical horizons and explore lesser-known global repertoire.

Chiara Guijarro Grela, a flutist, has performed with the Fontys University Chamber Orchestra and C&L Classical, earning third place in the Nico Vis Chamber Music Competition. A dedicated music educator, she teaches at Breda International School and collaborates with emerging composers. She is pursuing a master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music.

Grace Tushingham, a recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, now studies at the Royal Academy of Music. Supported by the Sir Elton John Award, she has performed concertos and toured with the Darach Ensemble. She also played Cor Anglais in the Academy’s production of Hansel and Gretel.

William Hammond, a clarinetist at the Royal Academy of Music, has performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra and English Touring Opera. Supported by the Margaret Booth Award, he enjoys both solo and orchestral work, and is also a passionate cook.

Runa Kosberg, a Norwegian French Horn player, is pursuing a master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music. She holds a bachelor's degree from the Grieg Academy and has performed in various professional ensembles, supported by multiple organisations.

Francesco Di Matteo, a horn player, began his studies in Italy before attending the Royal Academy of Music. An active soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician, he has performed in major festivals and with renowned conductors. He is currently an ABRSM scholar at RAM, completing his MA.

We are looking forward to hearing an exciting and varied performance! 👏🏻
