Cirque Mechanics: Pedal Punk

Step into the whimsical world of Pedal Punk, where cycling becomes a means to escape a technology-obsessed society. Set in a zany bike shop, a wacky mechanic interacts with cyclists and bikes, creating wondrous machines that inspire the cyclist in all of us to become a pedal punk. The performance features a custom-made, movable, pedal-powered scaffold set dubbed the Gantry Bike, serving as the stage for aerialists, contortionists, and unicyclists.​

Throughout the day, catch teaser performances by Cirque Mechanics along Main Street, offering glimpses into the full spectacle. These pop-up acts provide an up-close experience of the troupe’s unique blend of acrobatics and mechanical marvels.​
