Karen Lee & Jim G'Schwind

Karen Lee (Anderson) grew up in Brady with a musical family. Karen's father, Stanley Anderson, was a huge influence on her musical career. He taught her some guitar and she took off from there. Karen plays in a long-time, well-known group, The OK Sisters. The OK Sisters were inducted into the 'Nebraska Music Hall of Fame' in 2019. They have rocked these parts for the last 40+ years. Karen has joined forces with another Brady native, Jim G'Schwind, who was also influenced by Stanley. Jim first performed with his friends, in a band, The Phrogs, while at Brady High School. Later, Jim played in several Nebraska bands including the popular, Crazy Louie Band, who were inducted into the 'Nebraska Music Hall of Fame' in 2015. Karen and Jim were brought together, after decades, by one vintage Gibson guitar. Karen and Jim will be performing their first show together at the Old Depot Vineyard Winery south of Brady during this year's annual Brady Days celebration, August 2nd, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
