Sat 7/5, Fun in Sun with Ice Dye, 12-3pm

In this dye workshop, Hilary teaches you techniques and tricks for ice dyeing. Ice dye is a super fun process of dye using high pigment colors, ice and melting causes amazing patterns and waves in the dye. It's a super fun technique to learn and results are amazing. We will walk you through prepping your fabric or materials, the best dyes to use, techniques and how to lock your color for best results. Each student will get: - 3 napkins or tea/ kitchen towels - 1 bandana - 1 cotton t shirt You are welcome to bring several small items that are 100% cotton or natural linen, such as pillowcases, tee shirts, etc that you can also dye in class. Please dress comfy with clothes that are ok to get dye on. Class will be inside but also may be partially outdoors if weather is nice.


We will be using top of the line dyes and materials in class to ensure strong, beautiful colors.
