1 day Watercolour Workshop with Melissa Van Dam

Join Melissa Van Dam for a fun, hands-on introduction to watercolour painting—no experience needed! In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of watercolour techniques, including washes, blending, and layering.

We'll explore colour mixing, brush control, and how to work with water to create beautiful effects. You'll be guided step-by-step through a complete painting from start to finish, and there will be time to explore your own creativity with gentle support and tips along the way. By the end of the day, you’ll head home with a finished painting you can be proud of, and a foundational understanding of how to keep exploring this expressive, fluid medium on your own.

All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play! Whether you're brand new to painting or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is the perfect place to start your watercolour journey.
