Gallatin County is developing a Model Zoning Code for Affordable Housing, and we want your input! This initiative focuses on areas with existing infrastructure identified in the Future Land Use Map, starting with the community core areas of Four Corners and Gallatin Gateway.
Join us for two upcoming drop-in workshops to share your ideas on how zoning can support more affordable housing options in our growing communities. Because its a “model” code, the project could inform zoning updates in other areas of the County with infrastructure to support housing, so no matter where you live in the county, your voice matters.
Drop-in anytime during these sessions:
🏠 June 17 | 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Monforton Elementary School Cafeteria, 6001 Monforton School Rd., Four Corners
🏠 June 18 | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
📍 Gallatin Gateway Community Center, 145 Mill St., Gallatin Gateway
✅ Also: Take the survey!
Visit www.envisiongallatin.com to tell us what affordable housing means to you and what’s important for your community.
Why it matters:
This project builds on the recent Gallatin County Housing Strategy and Needs Assessment and recent Future Land Use Map. It reflects the county’s commitment to sustainable, attainable inclusive growth and housing opportunities for all. Let’s plan for a more affordable, inclusive future together.
